Sewer rate is going to $50.00 per unit effective April 1, 2023.

The Village is looking for residents to serve as a committee member.  Committee's available include:

Fire & Safety, Personnel, Zoning and Community Events.  If you are interested in joining any of these committee's, please email Mayor Austin Whited at mayorvillageofmarengo@yahoo.com.

​The Village of Marengo has a 1% income tax for all Village Residents and Businesses. 

The Village of Marengo works with RITA to collect the income tax.

Council passed a  AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THE VILLAGE OF MARENGO A CHOICE OF REMEDIES FOR NON-PAYMENT OF SEWER CHARGES OR OTHER VIOLATIONS RELATING TO USE OF VILLAGE SEWER SYSTEM on 7/10/2019. 

Council will be enforcing the Ordinance.
